Free Prime Viewing

The Evansville riverfront is the perfect spot to experience the once-in-a-lifetime Total Solar Eclipse. Riverside Drive will be closed to traffic, so we can all enjoy the strangest 3 minutes of darkness ever.

Pre-Eclipse Events

Our friends with the Downtown Economic Improvement District know how to tie in our wonderful local businesses with their events. There are unique photo opportunities and a passport to direct you to Downtown shops.

“Evansville will not experience another Total Solar Eclipse for 600+ years, so we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate Downtown. Events like the Total Solar Eclipse drive consumer spending at businesses, activate our neighborhood, and create special memories for our visitors,” said Adam Trinkel, EID Executive Director.
